This was Alan
Freed's greeting, heard by millions of Americans in the 1950s. At
Taunton Rock 'n' Roll Club, we promote this 1950s music and dance. Whether
you are dancing or sitting back listening to the music, we provide you
with a very entertaining evening. We have a large fully sprung wooden
dance floor and are often told that we have the best dance floor in Somerset!
Our venue at North Petherton is now loooking better than ever with a new
bar, stage, seating and tables as well as refurbished toilet facilites
and corridor areas. The bar now serves a selection of teas, coffees and
hot chocolate as well as alcohol and soft drinks.
Please note, in compliance with current legislation, North Petherton Rugby
Club is a 'No Smoking' venue and we respectfully ask those attending to
refrain from smoking anywhere inside the building. This includes
changing rooms, toilets and corridor areas.
